WorkVis Presents at NSC Safety Congress & Expo

Raghu Arunachalam of WorkVis.io and Christopher Petrouski of United States Steel Corporation will present Session 5 “AI Video Analytics: Big Brother or Your Brother’s Keeper: A Case Study” at the National Safety Council's NSC Safety Congress & Expo in Orlando, FL on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 4-5 pm in Room: 306 AB.

In this talk, we will present real-world use cases to show how AI-driven video analytics is transforming workplace safety and how it will become an important tool in our quest to drive incidences to zero. We will help the audience to understand several of the many applications of this promising new technology.

We will talk in-depth during the presentation with our partners at US Steel who will be co-presenting about their experience in deploying this technology around electrical safety. We will touch on the successes and some of the challenges in ensuring the successful adoption of this technology.

The focus of this talk will be broad and go beyond the technology and address some of the cultural aspects such as security, privacy, and worker acceptance.
