Security and Safety Summit Webinar Replay

Last week, Raghu Arunachalam participated in a lively and interactive Security and Safety Summit Webinar hosted by Occupational Health & Safety and Security Today Magazines. It’s wonderful to see these two groups collaborating on the progression of this important technology. This one-day online summit included expert speakers from all areas of the security and safety industries. There was a significant focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), video analytics, and worker safety.
Raghu’s presentation gave an overview of how video and AI can be used together to offer real-time alerts and guidance for workers on the job, helping to keep them safer. The focus is on reducing incidents by identifying hazards, ensuring workers comply with safety protocols, and providing immediate feedback and guidance so that workers can take action to keep themselves safe. Privacy, cooperation with workers and unions, and using the data for real-time safety guidance and training versus punishment, helps to get workers’ buy-in to using the system.
